BATHU KI LADI - Clusters of temples made by Pandavas during Unknown Habitat (Agyaat vaas ).
This place, Bathu Ki Ladi, consists of 1 major temple and 5 small temples and a very high building known as Swarg ki Seedi (stairs to the heaven ). Temples are submerged in Pong Dam since many years for more than 6 months a year. It is about 12 km away from Jwali. Cars and Bikes can reach the destination by travelling through 4 km of flood area.
Way to the Temple
The beautiful place is free from, both, noise and air pollution. The landscape in this area changes totally after every 1 km. Visiting and travelling trough is fun and gives a feeling of great enthusiasm and eagerness. The place looks more beautiful in a pleasant weather. All temples throughout this place are made of ancient bricks and stones. The way to the temple is totally off Road and becomes dangerous during Rains. Unfortunately there no place for night stay and no shop for eatables. But carrying food items would increase the flavour of trip. the place is very appropriate for photo shoot as well.
Correct time to visit bathu ki ladi Temple
This INDIAN place can only be visited in the second quarter of the calendar year (March - June). This temple is also known as "BATHU TEMPLE" But "BATHU KI LADI" is more famous.
Tourists can also enjoy boating in the Maharana Pratap Sagar, a reservoir created by Pong Dam created in the early 1970s.
